How many treatments are needed for complete hair removal?

The laser only affects follicles that are in the active growth stage (anagen) — this is about 15–20% of all hairs on the body at the same time. Therefore, it is impossible to remove everything in one go. To achieve perfectly smooth skin, an average course of 8–12 procedures is required with an interval of 4–6 weeks. The exact number of sessions is individual and depends on your hair type, hormonal background and treatment area.

Are there any contraindications for laser hair removal?

Yes, the procedure has a number of limitations. Absolute contraindications: oncological diseases, diabetes mellitus in the decompensation stage, epilepsy, the presence of a pacemaker. Temporary contraindications: pregnancy and lactation, a fresh tan (less than 2 weeks), inflammation, herpes, or skin lesions in the treatment area, as well as taking tetracycline antibiotics. 1. In the first 3 days, exclude overheating: refuse to visit the bathhouse, sauna, hot bath and swimming pool (due to chlorine).
2. Apply a soothing agent (for example, Panthenol or Bepanten) if you feel dryness.
